My kind have tried bravery, Exo. Sierra still strives for that antiquated ideal of a truly independent society. He's an old fool. We must build bridges, even with unpleasant programs like our mutual friend here. |

Spart is a program in the Arq Grid who appears in TRON: Catalyst. Formerly an apprentice of Sierra, leader of the Automata, Spart is a member of the Automata, serving as the ambassador of the Automata Embassy in Vertical Slice.
History[]
Backstory[]
Prior to becoming ambassador of the Automata Embassy, Spart was an apprentice of Sierra, a former Automata ambassador.[1]
TRON: Catalyst[]
Following the events of TRON: Identity, Sierra was elected as the new leader of the Automata faction. He commissioned the development of an Automata Embassy, built by the great Automata architect Sum, in the north east end of Vertical Slice, following specifications given by Sierra. At some point, Spart was made ambassador of the embassy.[1]
Diplomatic Relations[]
Upon arriving at the Automata Embassy, Exo meets with embassy tour guide Kiya in the Embassy Offices, asking for help to escape the city. Noting that she is merely a tour guide, Kiya refers her to the embassy's ambassador, Spart, but that first, Spart will need Exo to obtain Core's access codes for her.[1]
Escape Velocity[]
After stealing Core's access codes and escaping their pursuit, Exo returns to Kiya in the embassy and gives her the stolen access codes. In return, Kiya modifies code in Exo's Identity Disc to grant her access to the top floor of the embassy, where she can find Spart.[1]
The Emissary[]
Spart explaining her choice to Exo.
Before meeting Spart, Exo confronts a Core officer named Mo at the embassy, leading a manhunt for her. Exo eventually defeats Mo and his squad, and reaches the top floor of the embassy. However, she is shocked to see Spart talking to Conn, a Core guard, who has turned her over to him as a means to protect the Automata. Spart tells Exo that she is sorry to her, explaining that the Automata have attempted true independence in the past, and while Sierra still strives for that society, she believes him to be an "old fool," and that only by building bridges can peace be truly achieved.[1]
End Of Line[]
At Communication Tower Omega in the Outlands, Exo arrives to meet with her allies upon defeating Conn, pondering how Conn was able to protect himself from being instantly derezzed, with Horii suggesting he stole Automata technology. Sierra, however, believed Spart willingly gave Conn this technology, expressing that she knew better than to trust Core.[1]
General information[]
Personality and traits[]
Spart is shown to be determined, pragmatic, and willing to do anything necessary to benefit her people, even if it means allying with Core by handing over citizens and Automata technology. She is shown to be manipulative of others, as seen when she has Exo steal Core's access codes to give to her, only to turn her over to Conn in the process. Despite this, she appears to be apologetic to Exo. Upon reflecting on her former teacher, she considers Sierra to be an "old fool" in his hope for true independence. She sees her willingness to work with Core as the result of a "pragmatic choice."[1]
