Grish is a security program at The Repository.
History[]
Background[]
Grish served in the Adjunct War alongside the now-rebel Program, Proxy. Grish was also known to have a negative relationship with Sierra.
TRON: Identity[]
In 2023,[2] Grish was present whenever a mysterious break in at The Repository occurred. After the break in, Grish stood outside of the Repository's entrance, eventually meeting Query, a Disciple of Tron who was assigned to investigate the break in by Prinz. When meeting Query, the two form a relationship (either hateful or befriending based on the player's decisions) and they enter the Lobby. As Grish is about to take the elevator, he realizes he had lost his memories, provoking him to ask Query to defragment his Identity Disc, to which he takes Query up to the admin office to meet Prinz after having his memories restored.[3]
General information[]
Personality and traits[]
Grish is a brute program with yellow circuity, a white beard, as well as white hair, and a noticeable scar on the left side of his face. Grish is a security program who is less than pleased to be Query's acquaintance.[4]
Skills and abilities[]
With his experience at the Adjunct War, Grish is a skilled program that successfully survived the war and later became competent security guard. If given the chance to help Query on his investigation, Grish would prove useful, even pointing out details the detective might have missed. As a guard, Grish is skilled in the use of his identity disc, having taken part in presumably a hundred disc wars.
Codex Entry[]
"The Adjunct War didn't so much change Grish, as reveal his true function. He is a brusk, direct program whose only focus is the execution of his assigned task: Protecting the Repository and his fellow programs at any cost.
If you stay on the right side of Grish, he could be a vital ally. Make an enemy of him, and your time in Repository may be less comfortable."
Trivia[]
- Grish is currently the only known ISO to be a System Monitor.
- Of all the NPCs in the game, Grish has the largest relationship tree when it comes to interacting with the player.
- Because of this, Grish also has the most combinations in said tree.
