Caius is a minor character in TRON: Ares, played by Cameron Monaghan. He is a member of the Red Guard, formerly led by Ares, of which he was a close ally of.
History[]
Caius was a soldier program from the Dillinger Grid who was sent on an infiltration mission into the ENCOM server farm to secure information on the whereabouts of Eve Kim and the Permanence Code. He and his squad mates quickly overpowered ENCOM's guard programs, clearing the way for their squad leader Ares to proceed and secure the objective. An overwhelming response of guards stormed the infiltration group as they were making their escape and Caius was brutally cut down, dismembered but still alive. Ares turned back to help him despite Athena insisting he was "dysfunctional". Ares narrowly saved Caius from surrounding security programs by shattering and derezzing them with his Identity Disc and helping him back on his remaining leg. Ares assured Caius he was going to be okay, but the every program in the area was caught in an enormous data pulse from above that exploded the system.
The whole squad was derezzed in the blast; while the others were rerezzed back in the Dillinger Grid, Caius was not, which caught the attention and confusion of Ares. Ares had asked their user, Julian Dillinger why Caius was not "re-constituted", to which Julian had claimed him to be "dysfunctional" hence his permanent deletion. Julian used Caius deletion as an example of what happens to those who disobeyed their directive to the now curious Ares, and was forced to understand the consequence, though it became one of the factors in Ares turning against his careless creator.[1]

Not much is known of Caius, other than he was a hostile program ready to Derez any program to complete his directive, as shown when he infiltrated the ENCOM Server farm with his fellow Red Guard.
Skills[]
Being written as a Military Program, Caius was able to fight off and derez multiple security programs in the ENCOM server. Despite his injuries of having his right leg destroyed, he managed to stay strong and be assisted with the help of Ares, though this injury resulted in him apparently being "dysfunctional",
