The Adjunct War was a conflict that took place on the Grid that Kevin Flynn created for the ISOs. Not much is know about the war except for a few of its participants.
History[]
The conflict supposedly involved a hundred disc wars, where Grish had the misfortune of holding a friend in his arms as they derezzed. During one of the battles of the war, Grish and Proxy, a rookie program, found themselves huddled behind a barricade while a tank blasted at them. The two remained hidden as their enemies were just carpeting the area and would eventually move on. The time it took for the enemy units to move past was enough for Proxy to inspect the contents of her Identity Disc after she was left a little fragmented.[1]
Aftermath[]
While it's unknown which side won and the ramifications of the war, Proxy and Grish survived the conflict but not without scars, as they were both visibly shaken by the events and later took very different paths in life. After a theft occurred in The Repository, where Grish now worked as a guard, he would reunite with Proxy, though this time they were on different sides, since she wanted to take advantage of the situation.[1]
